Hermann Crown Suites

We planned a nice NYE but this place was the pits. We couldn’t get home fast enough. The room we rented became unavailable and we wer placed in another room which we were told was a higher price. If it was a higher price, I can’t imagine how bad the original room was. I specifically searched out a room that had a king size bed. The room we got had a double bed that was so soft it killed our backs. The room had no furniture or closet. It did have a straight back chair and a wooden bench. We were told we would receive complimentary shuttle service but it was already shut down for the day at 3 pm. I will not return to this pace or recommend it to any of my friends or colleagues. I will do just the opposite and suggest they do not stay there. For the price we paid, it was a real disappointment. Had we been told of the room differences, we would have canceled and stayed home for a much nicer NYE. This place leaves a lot to be desired.

The Hermann Crown Hotel is beautiful! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Since it was the off season, and not many in the hotel, the breakfast area was not open so they took our order and brought our breakfast to the room! The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The hotel was within walking distance of most of the things we wanted to see and do. This was our first trip to Hermann and we will be back!

Loved our stay at Hermann Crowne Suites! The free breakfast every morning was amazing! I loved the memorabilia in the room, the room was so much bigger than I expected, updated and very clean. Well worth every penny. It’s in a safe area with lots of lights and people around, so we felt very safe walking around at night. They have themed rooms which I thought was a nice touch. The hotel is in a historic building and I love the tall ceilings, and the decor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very calm and quiet, which is just what I needed. There’s a very nice bar downstairs and live music outside with good food and drinks. Will be staying again!

My friend and I visited Hermann for October Fest. We had a wonderful time, walking around this small town in the country. It's so beautiful and there is so much to do! We walked through lovely little shops, visited museums, and ate at charming cafes. And visited beautiful wineries! Do note though, that if you visit during festival times, parking is a bit tricky.

Stayed in the Cycle Suite. We were biking the Katy Trail. Upon checkin the lady at the front desk was very kind and knowledgable to cyclists. Told us where the bike wash station was, where the locking bike storage room was, and several other bits of information. Room was very clean and comfy. Bike storage had tools and a pump. Food was good. Music was great! Service was awesome! We felt welcomed at all times. A great atmosphere. Staff was very helpful.

We stayed here on our very first trip to Hermann. We absolutely loved our room. We stayed in the "Show Me" suite. The hot tub in our suite was great. The room was spotless and very clean. The owners and staff go above and beyond not only to make sure your stay is comfortable, but they take great care to maintain the beautiful buildings and rooms. It's like they think of everything! It was so cool to have a nightlight in the bathroom. I know, it's a small thing, but most hotels don't think about the small details....but the owners and staff at Crown do! The shuttle was great....got us to where we needed to go without fighting huge crowds. And the owner Lisa arranged for her understanding and flexible driver to come in an hour early so that a group of us would not have to walk to the train station in the cold rain. The complimentary hot breakfast was yummy and just what we needed. They had blackout curtains in each room and white noise boxes too, bc Oktoburfest can get loud. But even with loud music and rowdy bar patrons, we did not hear a sound and slept well.We enjoyed the live music, the 1837 Grill,and I learned that I really enjoy wine slushies! We will be back!!

Was at the Hermann Crown 1837 Bar the evening of December 1st, 2023 to welcome out of town guests who were attending our wedding that was being held in Hermann. The hotel itself, its staff and the room quality were all excellent. However, the entertainment that they provided that evening down at the bar was insulting (to put it nicely) at best. Our group made up of about half of the people in the 1837 bar that night and around 10:00 the entertainer (Michael Scott) stopped playing his music and announced on his microphone to the entire bar that our group of people were obnoxious, annoying, and that he couldn't even hear himself through his speakers and that he couldn't believe that we were drinking, talking, having a good time and not listening to his music. I've never been treated this way by any entertainer in a bar atmosphere and was taken off guard by it. Perhaps this entertainer should consider playing his music in a outdoor setting (or library) if crowd noise is a problem for him. I tried to speak to the bar staff that evening (Younger gentleman and a older lady) and they wanted to hear nothing of what had just transpired and didn't apologize. The entertainer, and maybe the bar owners itself got what they wanted as we all took our business to the piano bar across the street that evening and had a great rest of our evening. I won't be returning.
